the most important number in the world

Last saturday 24th October, people across 181 countries at 5200 events around the world, gathered together to take action in climate crisis and represent 350.  It was the most widespread day of environmental action in history and over 19000 images are recorded. 350 is what scientists say is the safe upper limit for carbon dioxide in the atmosphere per million. Two years ago, since it was observed the rapid ice melt in the Arctic, climatologists presented studies showing that the planet faced both human and natural disaster if atmospheric concentrations of CO2 remained above 350.
