This week we had the RNUAL week 1 programme which I had missed last year in October.  Quite fully packed, it was valuable insight into the process of the PhD.  The most memorable session of the week was with Dr. Alison James on Personal Professional Development - a great session involving play with Lego.  The Lego exercise was extremely useful to understand and explain what my project is about.  Visual thinking is something is quite important to simplify thoughts. - No emotion is the final one. - The researcher identity is unique. - The importance of critical writing, analysing thoughts regarding the process of research. - Not be afraid to express emotions.
