nature as he sees it

I have recently come across UK based photographer Matt Walford's work.  I havent found such beautifully constructed montage images in a while.. these specially remind me of a project I did years ago 'Through', an imaginary walk through a garden. What's special about this photograher's work is he uses traditional photographic methods along with a Flat-bed scanner as a large format camera, to have full control over every element in each picture. He deconstruct nature and rebuild it in his own unique vision.  Theory says a perfect photograph is one you dont need to re-touch.. these deconstructions and constructions are pretty perfect in a Alice in Wonderlandish world.
