Inspiration for my current project at Doi Tung, Thailand. Tiny New Zealand company won against global cosmetic giants for top honors in package design award "green packaging" category in the HBA International Package Design Awards, against international corporations of Estee Lauder and Mother Earth Essentials, among others. The outer packaging is made from recycled, biodegradable paperboard, using no glue and vegetable-based inks. The natural solid perfumes are in diminutive wooden pots made from beech wood sourced from sustainable forests where new tree is planted for every one logged in New Zealand.
