A seed I wish to plant in Lisbon PT

The Urban Forest Project, an initiative by World Studio Projects, is an awareness campaign by creating 'a forest' of  banners throughout the urban space started in NY 2006 now has spread to several cities across USA (San Francisco, Baltimore, Denver..).  For this Urban Exhibition artists and designers are invited to create a banner to displayed on lightposts that is a visual statement for their commitment to sustainability, and reflects the value and impact of their actions beyond their closed circles.  At the close of each exhibition the Banners are then recycled into tote bags which are auctioned to raise money for local non-profits and NGOs.   The importance of this is the link between the community, governments, non-profits, designers, artists to express their commitment to the environment and educate the general public .
